My Protective Life

I'm 16 years old.

My mom says I'm still underage every time i ask her permission to hang out. Thus, she prohibits me to hang out at night, i mean after 6 pm.
My mom says I'm still underage every time i ask her to bring vehicles by my own.
My mom says I'm still underage every time i want to hang out alone.

Yup literally because i'm under 17.

But my mom always tells me that i have to be mature everytime she asks me to study.
My mom often complains why i rarely study and read, she said I'm mature now.
I have to manage my time better she said.
I have to control my self and make a schedule for myself she said.
.
She said I've got older,
and i have to be mature.

When i'm not, she'll remind me and giving lots of boring advice that I could hear it all day long.

Then i know, maturity isn't determined by ages. Some people will never change. Some people change better, the rest become worse. If u are 30 doesn't mean you are mature already.
If you are 15 doesn't mean you are childish.
Maturity is based on the society we live in. If your boundary is people that older than you, grateful.
If you are surrounded with people younger than you, be careful.
If your parents habituate you to be independent and do anything by yourself, grateful.
If your parents let you do whatever you want without thinking about the risk and so on, be careful.
